... When we study the story of Zerubbabel we find a task that was far bigger than any man....Go and rebuild the house of the Lord at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. A task that could not be altered by all the kingdoms of the earth.
.. We must always keep in our minds and hearts that it is by the Holy Spirit of God that we accomplish any task asked of us....... It is when we set aside any thought of our strength that the Holy Spirit makes provision..

He is the power and the might that flows through a will soul to glorify our Father.

I love this verse. It is so easy to forget and try to 'do' it all in our strength. Thanks for sharing this verse, I am grateful and thankful for this reminder.
Presently, I am living in a area that is surrounded by mountains so these scriptures hit home to me. I can apply what I'm learning to what I am living. I did want to make sure I told you today that I really appreciate having "met" you. I've been enjoying and learning from what you've been writing and I appreciate your openness and honesty the most.

This reminds me of a song that Karen, over at Karen's Ramblings, and I used to sing when we were teenagers, by a Christian artist called Leslie Philips. Good timing. Funnily enough I was thinking of this verse only a short while ago.

Thanks for your comment on my post. I actually live in the Channel Islands, off the coast of France. It's where Karen from Karen's Rambling came from originally, I think she has a map on her blog (on the side).
I also used to live in England, in West Sussex. I loved it there too and yes, fish and chips were/are great. Love that smell of vinegar!
