We Are The Reason For The Season

-->
Merry Christmas

and with that said let it melt your heart to the real reason we celebrate.
For you see we are the reason for the season.
He came without hesitation, leaving His crown at the feet of the Father. He came as scripture foretold. He came, His future planned before the foundations of the earth. He came with a whimper in a manger, knowing that He would die as a result of His birth. Yet He came.
He came from the Father so we could be reconciled back to The Father. He came from the Father and He was without sin. He came in obedience to the Father, so that we could cry Abba Father.

Romans 8:15
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father

Let us rejoice

He came. He is coming again
Merry Christmas

Amen girl!
It has hit me this year like no other that He came just for me. He came in order to pursue me and have me be able to pursue Him back.
How cool is that?
Hope that you are doing good and that you have caught up on all your orders and work.

I read and reread this blog a couple of times soaking it in like a sponge would soak up spilled water! then I got goose pimples....I LOVE this man we call our Father! your blogs touch my soul, I owe so much to him, I told him just last night while I was sitting in the car waiting for Amanda to get off of work, "You know father, we thank you when things are going great in our life, but do we thank you when they aren't? I am guilty of that, and I should thank you when things aren't so peachy, you allow everything to happen and I love you for allowing what ever comes my way" I know people think I'm crazy, I talk to him just as if he's sitting in my car with me, and there are times I know he is! so yea, I am crazy for talking to someone that some people cant see, but I can feel his presence!! I AM GUILTY!! HUGS ALWAYS
Annette

Great post Denise. Sorry I got behind on reading but I'm caught up now.

I know your ulcer will be gone quickly. You are healed from the top of your head to the tips of your toes in Jesus' name.

Forgiveness is a great healer itself. Be blessed sister.

Does it bother you as much as it bothers me, that Christmas...which once was the pure focal point this time of the year simply because it was A BIRTHDAY PARTY TO HONOR CHRIST...is no longer what it once was? We don't interfere with other religeons in the way they celebrate, so why should anyone interfere with the way we do? You can't say you live in a free country anymore...there's a law against everything...it makes me sad but determined...I say MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone...and they can tell me Happy Hannakah or have a nice Ramadan, or Sweet Quanzah (sorry, don't know the spelling, it's a new Holiday...I'm in the midst of writing my rant...sigh...anyway Denise my dear friend, Merry Christmas!
I'll be looking forward to reading your Christmas story!
hugs
Sandi

My husband and I were reading the verses yesterday in Luke about the birth of Jesus and again commented about how he was "subject" to his parents when he was 12 and teaching at the temple. Funny how our human response are alway opposite of His. How easy it would have been for him to break away from the leadership of his earthly parents. A good reminder not just for kids but for myself too that there are always those on earth that we are subject too and obedience is obedience!

Have a wonderful Christ-filled Christmas. Blessings... Polly

Hi sweet Lady, absolutely feel free to gather the red marbles. Pass them freely.
Wal-mart arg...I am sure it is nice to be home.
You know He is the reason...but really we were the reason. I like that perspective and I think I will just pass that on too.
