Just Some Fun

Thought you might like to see some pictures of me and Mom that my sweet hubby took without my knowing... Last Saturday I took my stash of flowers out to the truck bed and thought I would throw together a couple of fall wreaths for me and Mom........ She came out to chat and visit as I worked....... I usually do not do a fall wreath because I decorate for Christmas before Thanksgiving but thought this year she would like to do something with me........... Soooooooooo I hauled out what I had and we just had a good visit...............

My sweet hubby took pictures without me knowing
but he got my best side!

Mother was a little chattie sweetheart! We had a wonderful

This is just a hobby so be nice!

Mom loved to sit and watch and she was so
excited to see me put something together for her....

She is moving mentally further away from us each day.. I have seen such a change in the
past few weeks... I am grieved in my heart... I treasure these days...

Here is the one on her deck..... not too bad!

This is on the front of my house......... I will take more pictures tomorrow.
I have some beautiful asters!
Have a beautiful Saturday.......

What wonderful photos of you and your mother. Lasting memories that are precious.

Your wreaths are wonderful. You are so creative and talented. I'm glad you and your mother were able to spend this time together. It's difficult when loved ones change so rapidly.

Keeping you, Dennis and your parents in my prayers.

How beautiful. What talent you have to make such an awesome wreath.

It's hard seeing our parents grow old. My mother is almost 87 and I can see her slowing down day by day. So hard!

God bless you and your family

Denise, those wreaths are stunning! You can make me one anytime, Girl. ;-)

As for your sweet Mama, I'm thankful for the time the Lord has given you two to spend together and love on one another. She is fortunate to have a daughter like you to love and protect her.

May you be richly blessed. said...

Hi Denise ~ what beautiful pictures! I'm so sorry to hear about the changes in your mom. My mother died from Alzheimer's and it's such a scary disease.

Thanks for agreeing to be my swap partner! I have lots of goodies planned!
