Hahahahhahaha.... got this tonight in a couple of emails........ Thought this would represent my day........ It was off to the Dr for the first shot. Things went really good and I expected more than it was..... Not too painful and no side effects so to speak. Left there around 12:00 noon and stopped to get a bite so I could take a pain pill as advised by the Dr. His directions were to go home and get in my recliner and get off my butt so to speak and let the medicine work......... That was our precise intentions............. but how many of you know that life gets in the way of our plans...... About an hour from home Dad called and said that Mom was in terrible pain and he had no one to call....... Reminded him that I was an hour away............ They do not have any pills of any kind in the house except for his medicine which he is responsible to keep away from Mom... She will take anything she sees, so I have to keep all her medicine at my house including any Tylenol or anything such....... Long story short.....got home at 2:15 got Mom and headed to ER............ Three hours latter and helping her up and down sitting in those hard ER chairs we finally got to see the Dr............ Severe reoccurrence of the gout in her foot........ She was in terrible shape.......... finally got her some pain pills and another round of cortisone and headed to Pharmacy for medicine and pizza for dinner ( so much for salad and grilled salmon) Got Mom home after several stops and a new electric foot bath which should help........ and I need to get her into a Podiatrist this week sometime.............
Now it is 8:00 and my head hurts and I need to watch that real close...... It is one of the only side effects..... spinal headache....... but I have decided that it is just a headache and will be fine with a nice hot shower and soft bed.... Thanks for all the prayers....... I will know in a couple of days what the shot is going to do........... I am encouraged..........

I had a day yesterday with Paw Paw.
Some days I feel the negative energy in the air and it just gets me.My mind starts whirling and I spend most of the day fighting off a mental attack.
Glad your Moms foot was just gout and that they were able to do something for it.
