Trip To The ER

Just got home from the Emergency Room.... guess I am a not getting better......... Had a bronchial asthma attack and bronchial tubes filled up.....
They were wonderful when I got there and got me in pretty quick.. Dr took one look and listened to my chest...... Got a big old shot of cortisone to clear my lungs, a big old shot of antibiotics to clear the infections. Chest x-ray and then a breathing treatment. Kept me a couple of hours until my breathing got better.. Sent me home with cough medicine and Medrol dose pack (6 days of cortisone) antibiotics for 10 days. I have my own Nebulizer (breathing machine) here at the house and have to use it three times a day until I get to breathing better.

Thanks for the prayers and I would appreciate you praying a bit longer.......

Oh Denise, I am so so sorry you are so sick. Please, please take care of yourself. Wish I could help you....but, I will call on the One who can help you. Follow the doctor's orders and do feel better soon. My heart hurts for you. You are such a sweet person.

Thanks for your comment on my new adventure with my weight problem. Please go on down to view the baby shower pictures.

Blessings to you.

Hello Dear One,
I'm so sorry to hear you're ill. I know how you must be feeling as I have asthma also. I said to Honey Bear this weekend that we had made it through the winter without being sick. I then remembered that I had my asthma problem last year in March so decided not to count my chickens before they hatched. March has much that I am allergic to but is just too beautiful to remain indoors.
I know that you should be feeling much better this morning after the shot and the breathing treatment.
Love,
Mama Bear

Yes, indeed, Denise. Wow. I made a quick scan of my feed and saw this. Already said a quick prayer and will try to remember you throughout the day. Hope you'll be feeling better as the day goes on.

Denise,

I'm sorry you are so sick. I can sympathize with you, as I was really sick in January. I still think I had pneumonia but the doctor at the clinic didn't even listen to my chest, so she had no idea. It took me a few weeks to get back to normal. Heal fast. Praying for you, my friend.

Blessings,
Mary

OH dear Denise please take it easy and rest rest rest. Pnuemonia is nothing to mess with my dear! I'm so glad you have good med care and stay down and take the meds. Your body's immune system is worn out hon...gotta build your immune linebackers back up. That crap just takes it outta ya. I have the flu virus...I'm using the nebulizer just to be on safe side, lots of garlic tabs ( natural anitibiotic, but wheeeew the burping garlic is the pits) fluids and rest and more rest. I try to avoid the antibiotics if I possibly can..but if the fever goes higher and I start to wheez and the flem get's green it's ER time. I have never had pnuemonia, my youngest has and she spent a week in the hospital. Hon, please take it easy in your chair. Dream of sunny Italy. Let's go someday!!! I'll save my wheat money!! Maybe in 2 or 3 years??? Prayers for a speedy recovery sweetie. Love, Jen
