Time Out!

Me and my sweet hubby is taking some time out....... Hard week this week.......Spent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday moving a cousin from Springdale, Arkansas....... Mercy we were tired.... Then there was a pretty emotional day Wednesday afternoon. So we are headed to Tulsa in the morning for two days. There is a couple of things I want to do while I am there and then it is off to see a movie and stay in a hotel with an indoor pool ! YES !!!! I have missed my swimming.

So I think I am not taking my laptop, and not going to do any blogging. I want to study my new Jewish old Testament bible that I got for Christmas. So lots of quiet time I hope............ I think I will share with you when I get back some very emotional things that the Lord is taking me through. I will have to walk out on a limb to do it and I pray that the Lord goes out on a limb with me... I want very much to pour out my heart here on the blog and reach out and touch other women that has walked where I have walked. So I will begin to share my life............. It needs to begin with my earthly father. So gals have a great weekend and I will be home sometime Sunday.
Love ya much and let us get on with the things of the Lord......

Have a great time. Remember be obedient and share what God lays on your heart. It will bring healing to you and to others. I don't know that you need healing but that just jumped right on the screen so I'm leaving it. Be blessed, mighty woman of God.

I am going to miss you....We have to trust the Lord no matter what. I'd like to do a little more personal blogging but in all reality I'm afraid too, I'd like to start from being a little girl with a single mother to current...but like I said to scared too! Enjoy your time with your new bible, and meditating on each word it brings you, and especially alone time with hubby. May God and all his angels give you a safe travel.

Hugs always
Annette

It's good to know you and your hubby are taking a few days off. Yes, yes...when I go for rest and relaxation, I never take a computer, nor do I look to find one in a cafe either. It's just time to sit, reflect and enjoy the quiet times. No computer.

I think you did good with that decision.

Hugs

Denise,

I am sorry that you've been having a rough time of it and glad that you and Dennis are taking some much needed time off. Have a great time and a safe journey.

Remember, God, our Heavenly Father is always with you and even more so when you are out on a limb. His love and protection is constant. He allows us to go through the fire in order to strengthen us, similar to how steel is forged by fire.

Love you, my friend.
Blessings,
Mary

I just received my new ESV study Bible. I will use it alongside my trusty companion of the past 4 years. I just hate to put it to rest.

Would love to hear more about your new Jewish Bible.

Sorry about your trip. You will enjoy it much more when health accompanies you!

HOn take all the time ya need to reflect and meditate with the Lord. Our souls need this spiritual nourishment. As women..we have to go off to the "quiet places" to renew ourselves and our strength. You will be in my devotions while you are on this journey. It's BIBLICAL...all the saints go to the desert or mountaintop alone, to be with their God. Then return...renewed, shining!!! Your courage and heart, faith will sustain you. You are loved.
