R & R ......... We are On Our Way

40th Annual Bella Vista Arts & Crafts Festival

Bella Vista, Arkansas

We are on our way..... Me and my sweet Hubby are headed out early in the morning for some well deserved R & R ...
Thanks to my sweet older brother PE that is coming out to stay with Mom and Dad. I do not know what we would do without him and Alpha his wife. They are the only help we have with Mom and Dad. We are so grateful to them.
W e are headed north toward Arkansas where the leaves should be turning and the Autumn is in full force. We will celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary on the 17th. I cannot believe that it has been one year since we took some time out..... but here we go!

We are headed to the Belle Vista craft fair ! YEAH !!! Isn't it just like God to give me a wonderful husband that love to wonder around the far out fields filled with goodies and crafts and handmade soup and soap ! We both love to stroll and look! We just want to go somewhere and not have to think or be responsible for anything or anyone but the two of us! No big plans , just drive and talk and laugh ........ sounds like fun to me!
After the Belle Vista Craft Fair we are headed to

The Ole Applegate Place Arts & Crafts Festival. One of Ozarks largest gatherings of artists and
craftsmen. Set in the heart of the Arkansas Ozark Mountains, this is one of the most unique locations in the country for arts and crafts. The area is nationally known for its breathtaking fall foliage and beautiful scenic highways.
Incredible views of the Ozark Mountains and surrounding forest.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I am already packed!

We will finish it off by coming full circle around to Oklahoma City on Sunday and kick around brick town for a few hours have a bite to eat at Zio's and then go to the !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have fun, my friend. I have been in Arkansas and drove the scenic road in the Quachita Mountains, but never if autumn. You are in for a real treat.

I'm looking forward to LOTS of photos. May your vacation be filled with love, laughter and the sounds, sights and fragrances of spring.

Blessings for a safe trip.

You are truly blessed to have a husband who enjoys those things with you! I know you will have a wonderful time. I am also a Neil Diamond fan. I went to a concert a long, long time ago. My hubby and I had our fall vacation last week. The 8th was our 42nd anniversary. We went to the mountains in WV. The timing was just right for the most spectacular display of God's creation. The colors were at their peak. I will be posting photos on my blog soon.

God bless you and give you safety in your travels.

Have fun! I don't know why I didn't hear about that when we lived in Ft. Smith. Oh well, I'm looking forward to those pictures. More importantly, I am looking forward to hearing you coming back refreshed. Could this break be somewhat overdue, perhaps? :)

Okay, so now I'm really jealous. Is that a sin? LOL, guess I better go do some confessing. Seriously, ENJOY yourselves. This is a wonderful season, filled with yummy smells, beautiful sites, and MUSIC - oh my. I think hubby is taking me to the High Museum tomorrow - not sure. Can't wait to drive up to the mountains, either.

Tell Neil to sing Crackin' Rosie for me.
