Wonder Woman and Her Bustier

I have to add this........ I had forgot it when I posted a bit ago........ I am so tired and a bit humdrum....

.........When the Dr came in this morning to administer my shot....... He first sat and chatted a while about my back and how might I have hurt my back this bad....... this was my answer to him........... "I was Wonder Woman for my late 30's until my early 50's.. at which point I retired my Bustier and knee high boots.... and some days I have visions of grandeur and try to wriggle in them again" hahahha
Now you know my personality......... I cannot help it......... Grandmother says that I reminded her of my Uncle James that had laughing eyes and always happy............. :) The Dr had a good laugh....... it cut the ice so to speak......... for in just a few minutes I had to bare my butt to this young guy.................ahahhaha

night all (I want to thank Melanie over at Melanie Joy for the wonder woman reminder) hahahaha

I was thinking on wonder woman and her lasso.
You may not have a literal lasso but you have the Holy Spirit--He binds things a whole lot better than her lasso. So for some reason I want to say--make sure you are doing some binding today.

I would love to hear some thoughts on Isaiah. We will be covering 6-10 Thursday evening. Whatever He has given you I would love to hear.

Paw Paw has a kidney doctor appointment around 10--I'll be taking some reading with me. Then when I get back I'll start putting my notes together in my computer.
Tomorrow may be the day we start dialysis so I figure I should get as much done as possible.
Thanks

Good Morning Denise,
I loved this story about Wonder Woman and the picture as well. Your are a Wonder Woman yourself. I read your previous post and I do hope your Mother is feeling better today. I hope your headache is better also and it wasn't one of the side effects from your shot. I will be praying for you and your back and for your Mother as well. We are suppose to get some freezing rain tonight and tomorrow. I just hope it doesn't get too bad and we lose power. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Denise,
I loved the Wonder Woman comment! Man, does that take me back. That doctor now realizes what a unique character you are...:-)

Sorry that you're tired. Maybe that means you're supposed to rest for the shot to work better?
Sending a prayer your way.
Love you lots!

Oh Denise, You make me laugh, which is something I don't do often. I find your humorous outlook on life inspiring. I'm glad you were able to cut the ice with this young doctor. LOL

Take care and thanks for all the prayers for Michelle. She is doing awesome and only what I expected of her.

Love and blessings,
Mary

Oh Denise! You said the nicest thing about our artist hands! Yes, they are a part of our character and they show strength...that's what I say!
