Unctions

.......... I have unctions from the Holy Spirit............ after all He was sent to be our guide.. and who better to show us the way than Him..........

1Jo 2:20
But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

Jhn 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Jhn 14:17
[Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Jhn 14:26
But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

.. So He has been sent to live in us and He has been sent to council with us and He has been sent to guide us................. He has been sent to remind us of the words of Jesus......... He has been sent as a helper........... Oh my.......... He has been sent ............
Jesus did not want to leave us along in this world so the Holy Spirit was giving to keep us company.... today He is nudging me to pray... Oh I pray but do I really pray? I remember many years ago soon after being born again , I was living with my cousin Tisha and her husband Harold. She was and is a prayer warrior to the max...
There were terrible issues in my life and every morning after the kids were gone off to school and Harold was gone off to work we would begin to pray......... Eyes wide open, bibles in hand and up and down the hall and across her kitchen floor... Being new at all that I watched in wide eyed amazement.......... I say things happen in those times that only God could do and it all came back to that kitchen and hallway prayer room..........
We prayed the word over all the situations of the day and I can tell you that there were days when I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that there were angels attending...standing ready to respond to the command of the Father as these two young women fought the good fight.... Even as I speak this to you my spirit man responds to the prompting of the Holy Spirit....... He so wants to go to war for me and fight the things that come into our lives.........
How too often I have spent a few minutes in prayer for many of you ladies and sat at my table with my bible and prayed , but I have not gone to war
with the word of God...I need to begin doing that.....
I think in the next few days I will relate to you ladies some of the stories of those days.............
I repent today that I have not drawn my sword of the truth and
battled the things that my family so needs.
James 5:16
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
PRAYER: IT IS FERVENT EFFECTUAL FAITH FILL WORDS TO BRING GOD ON THE SCENE................ I need God on the scene in my life.................

Good Afternoon Denise,
WOW, such a Truthful and Powerful post for today. "THANK YOU" for sharing it with us. I know it is so easy to get out of doing things the way we need to be doing them. We are all sinners and have come short of HIS glory. "CONGRATULATION'S" on the Award you got on your previous post. I got the same Award as well. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Denise,

I am so sorry to hear about your son. I will pray that there will be restoration and reconciliation between you two. I don't understand why this happend and how your son allowed it to happen. I really pray that you can see him and the grandchildren.

In Him ~ Sharon

Lord, teach us to pray!

I hope you are doing well. Thanks for stopping by. You have no idea how reading everyone's blogs when I get a spare moment energizes me. When I can, I will email you the details of our move. I do feel sorry for your son though. He has no idea what he's missing and one day he'll understand it's no use to resist God and his mother's prayers.

Praise God. Praise God. What a powerful post! It's so amazing what the Holy Spirit does for us, isn't it?! Yesterday I wrote my post for today because I knew I would be busy today. But when I went to bed, God rewrote it all. I had to go with His version =) I hope to start writing about the Lord's Prayer soon. But I wait on Him. Blessings sweet gal... Polly

AMEN girl!!!!
There is nothing like two or more getting together in one accord. The feeling of the Holy Spirit rising up in you. The fire of God coming down. Time stops as heaven nears. Goodness!
The joy of it all.
It has been awhile. Bring it on!
I would love to hear some stories to spur us on to love and good works!
It only takes a spark to get a fire going-And soon all those around will warm up to its glowing.......

Love your new header. I have to get my Christmas one down and another put up. Not sure what I'm going to do yet.
