Are You In Kindergarten or Headed to College.

.......... We are all children of the most high... If you have been born-again by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior then you are a Child of God........... A kid of the King......... a joint heir with Jesus Christ........

Gal 4:4
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

Gal 4:5
To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Gal 4:6
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Gal 4:7
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Rom 8:17
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together.
Gal 3:29
And if ye [be] Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Tts 3:7
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

........We were under the law because of our sin........ We were born into it and every man that has drawn breath into their lungs is under the curse of the law.......... We were lost and undone and unless God would send Jesus we were without hope.......... But He did send His son because the law was unable to save us............ The blood of goats and rams and bulls only covered the sin and pushed it back for another year....... It would take the blood of the Son of God to free us from the curse.......... It took Jesus ........

.......... Now after the blood of Jesus has washed our sin away.......... no longer are we a servant to sin but a Son...... and if a Son then an heir of God............ Now think about that a minute.......... We are joint heirs with Jesus Christ........... Joint heirs to what? Joint heirs to all the promises made by God to Abraham............ go and read what we have inherited.............

............. As children of the most High we come in all sizes and shapes and colors and creed....... We live we learn we grow we make mistakes.......... Some of us may be in kindergarten or some may be in junior high......... some in pre-school and some on the verge of graduating from high school......... but all children.......... No one loved more than the other....... all in a stage of growth and learning......some will make straights A's while others might flunk recess......... but all kids of the King............ We are not graded on a curve we are graded on a cross...... and it all comes out equal.
........ We must understand that once we are born of the spirit of God we become a child of God..... and as a child He treats us just like that , His child......... As a parent I had two sons and each were so different that is was amazing........Each with his own personality but each my son.......Loved them the same....... Had to chastise each one so different........One was obedient in one aspect of his life and the other disobedient in the same area...and so it goes with children..........

.......... But both children of mine and loved with a passion and treated the same but so different..... Patient with one that struggled and clapped my hands for the other that excelled..... but both my children.............

...........We must get a clear picture of the Father God........ We are His children...... He chastises each according to the disobedience in each of our lives and He praises us when we excel.......... When I was a kindergartner He held my hand as I tried to read and helped me pronounce the words...... but when I became a student in junior high He showed me the way through my algebra...... It is the same Father that guides the infant as guides the adolescent and the same Father that enjoys the antics of the little girl on the playground as the same Father that watches with pride as she wears a cap and gown............. We are all His kids each with our own quirks and failures and accomplishments....... He give not one favor to one that He will not give to the other.....
...We are one body and one family........We are brothers and sisters in Christ and we have one Father that loves us with a passion that we cannot even comprehend.
.......... When we greet a brother or sister all that is needed to know is that he or she is the family of God..... We are not to judge........Let the Father do the teaching and the correction......... We are called to love and love only............ We are family and whether you be 2 in the Lord or 60 in the Lord............... We are one body........We are family........

Denise,

A beautiful and powerful post. Yes, we are all children of God and we may excel at one thing and fail at another but He still loves us and will give us the desires of our heart if we seek them in His name.

Thanks once again for an insightful post.

Blessings and love,
Mary

I love you girl!
Sometimes we need to be reminded that He loves us and sometimes we need to be reminded that we are not the gift to the world--He is.
I am humbled that He sees me and humbled that He wants to have anything to do with me. But I am thankful for the cross that gives me access to fellowship and the classroom.

wonderful post reminding that we are all equal heirs of the throne....
but we each have our own shortcomings that we need to work on with God's help so that we can become the leaders that He desires us to be....
thanks for the post,
Mimi

Hello, I couldn't get in over at Sew the Word. I wanted to thank you for the shirts. They arrived today. The pink is a little lighter than I thought but we will enjoy wearing them. I wish all of us could meet somewhere with our shirts on. That would be cool. I'm giving the other one to my daughter.
