Sealed With The Earnest Of The Holy Spirit

Eph 1:13
In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Eph 1:14
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

.....Sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise...... Which is the earnest of our inheritance...
... this may not be a good example of this scripture but here is what I see... When we go out to purchase a home.. We put down earnest money on that house which seals up that contract so that others cannot come in for any reason and cancel that contract unless we go back on our word...

... Jesus said that after that we believe He sends the Holy Spirit and seals us until He comes to claim us as His own... How precious are the promises of God ... How secure we should be in our faith in Jesus Christ.... He has marked us... He has put His seal of ownership upon our hearts and He will not go back on His word.... As long as I stay in Christ...

Rom 8:38
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

...... Let us rejoice and be glad.... !!!!

It sounds like you had a beautiful birthday. I like the idea of a heating pad at your computer chair.

You've had a birthday and I missed it. I hate to miss birthdays!!! Well, belated Birthday wishes to you, anyway.
How is your back doing? Has anyone figured out why it's causing you so much pain? I'm praying for you, dear. Hugs and blessings to you.
