Be Still --- He is Still In Control

When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don't throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer.

Good Morning. It is 5:30 here. I was awaken at 3 a.m. with My Dove coughing. It is a night time cough, yesterday turned to be through out the day. Too much sugary stuff with Vday .
It is now that I am quiet and awaken by the dogs needing out. There is a warm gentle rain and a very full day ahead. I put my garden boots on and went out in jammies and coat to cover the coop with a tarp.
This was the perfect thing to start the day with.
Peace (Christ Jesus) be with you also.

Like Donetta, have been up earlier cause birthday boy kept me up coughing all night, cat needed out, ect, ect. I read you post "Hiding in the garden" and I was reminded of so many times when I showed my anger, but one in particular stands out, has to do with my Amanda, so I need to ask for forgiveness, Holy spirit is touching my heart as I type, he's been touching my heart so much lately, I told Donetta it must be my stupid depression trying to surface, but my depression, doesn't allow me to feel like this, its different, why do we allow ourselves to hurt people with awful and cruel words to be spoken, then I so regret it, I feel so ashamed of my self, I love my daughter with my whole being, and I hurt her with words, I hurt the most precious gift God allowed me to have, and I know I made him sad as well, sometimes I feel like I'm not worthy to receive his gifts. Thank you for the word!
Love to you
Annette

This is a great word! We must trust him, and lately I have been guilty of trying to take control of things. HE is good!

Hello Denise,
I am going through a dark period in my spirit.....I must be still and allow God to be in control. He will bring me through it.

Hi! This was good!
Please pray for Nancy. She has been hard to care for this past week. She is like she is between 6-10 years old but is 46 years old! Thanks!!! Love Grams

I love Corrie Ten Boom's writings and this quote of hers is an encouraging one. We just need to have total faith in our Shepherd. Thanks for the reminder.

Great page all around. I love Corrie Ten Boom's quote, too. It was her book The Hiding Place who helped to bring me back to God and be born again.

I'm trusting...if I can get self out of the way and solely rely on God to see me through this "moment"... (Isaiah 41:13)
