......... We were called out at 12:45 last night by Mom.... Dad very sick with what looks like the flu..... His temp was 103......... We called the nurse and she got there and took his blood pressure and heart rate ......BP was a bit high but that was normal for him being so sick.......Dennis and I stayed till 3:30 until his temp was down to 100.9......... I will be there most of the day off and on...... so just wanted to say good morning and let you know that he is a bit under the weather......

I was just hearing about the flu this morning on the news and how the shots people got missed the important strain.

I got a flu shot like I do every year and I have never had the flu after getting a shot But this year I did!! I think Sharon is right they missed some important strain this year!

I'm glad that your father is doing better. I'm keeping you both in my prayers.
I am not worried about the eyes. I do believe I need to be more consistent with the eyedrops.
Take care. I know it's hard for you to take care of your parents, but am glad that you do. I talk to Mom everyday just to be sure she is doing okay.
Like Sharon, I've been concerned about you, but know that God is watching over you. Don't forget to take some time for YOU on the weekend. You need to keep yourself well to take care of everyone else, just as I do.

I'm am sorry you dad is so sick with the flu...glad his fever is down a bit.
I had that nasty flu in early February- I was in bed for three days! I know it can be more serious with older folks (not sure how old your dad is) but no matter the age, it's not fun, and hope he's on the mend too.
