A Chicken Nest....... NO I Think Eagle

Partridge Plymouth Rocks
Black Maram

Buff Orpingtons

.......I have been tagged by a couple of friends this week and I have just not had time to respond. However today I think I have a moment.........ahhaha soooooooo just to keep it light today I will come out and play..My friend over at Quiet Reflections KarenB has tagged me for the 6 non important/habits/quirks about meme..

The rules for this meme are: (1) Link to the person that tagged you. (2) Post the rules on your blog. (3) Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself. (4) Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs. (5) Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.

1)...... I hate to fold clothes..... just hate it........ I will wash them and throw them on the bed in the spare room but I hate to go back and fold them......now what is that all about? Now also I hate to empty the dishwasher...... I hate that....... I will wash and clean and scrub the dishes and stove and counter and load that washer but I will leave those dishes there for days if I can...... What is that all about? I will even wash dishes the next day and rinse them and put them in the dishwasher to dry right on top of all the other clean dishes........... ahahhahah oh well not important.....

2) I will not stay in bed after my DH gets up..... If he has to go into work early I will get up and go back to sleep in the chair...... I am not able to sleep in a bed before daylight alone with the door closed......Is that strange? I am not afraid, just the feeling of being vulnerable....... Now that is weird.......

3) I would rather be outside in the dirt than all dressed up going to a ball.......... I dig and plant and push a wheel barrow....... I even drove all the way to Springfield Mo. and brought home a huge tub of Elephant dung from the zoo. They offer it to the public once a year I think......... Now that is yucky!!!!!!!! However I did have some great flowers that year........... ahahhaha

4) I love to go out of my way to surprise someone....
My older brother loves to raise chickens.. So one year while in Springfield Mo early spring my DH and I went to a chicken farm (found it on the Internet) and bought my brother 6 baby chickens. Two were Black Maran, two were Buff Orpington and two were Partridge Plymouth Rocks..... We were not leaving town for a couple of day so we emptied the cooler that we carried our water and fruit and put them in the cooler, and put them in a closet......... they were all too small to get out but it sure did make a mess in that cooler..... But what a fun surprise for my brother Paul a couple of days latter.............

5) I own and operate a Tee shirt store and have since 1994..... I do graphic design and screen print and I guess there have been thousands of shirts go through my shop..........But I hate tee shirts and will not wear one...... and if I wear a sweat shirt I cut the collar trim off....... I feel like they are choking me........... but I love turtle necks......is that strange or what????

6) I do not like heights........ We once were on the highest point in Germany,
WHAT: Hitler's Eagle's Nest
WHERE: Village of Oberzalberg, on the German-Austrian border
WWII landmark;spectacular scenery.
When it was time to get back on that bus and go down I was so distraught I refused to get on that bus....... so the 4 of us walked down that mountain.........(the other three did not speak to me all the way down or the next day)... Pictures below of the mountain.... took us 3 hours to get back to the parking lot where we had left the car.... all the people at the bus stop thought that we were crazy and that we could not possibly have walked down that mountain........... But that is exactly what we did....... I do not go up mountains anymore........ pictures below.............
YOU MUST CLICK ON THESE..... THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Well, well-I am with you on the vulnerable part in two I believe. And I am with you on preferring to be in the yard than at a ball.
I don't like wearing t-shirts either that is why I asked for the t-shirts with a v neck.

Hope you are getting some rest today. I read that your son was doing good--I'm glad.

RYC-we have been out of the camper since may. We moved into a rental down the street from our property so that we could care for Paw Paw.
We will not be building on the property so we will eventually sell it.It is on the river so we should not have a problem selling it. We know God already has a buyer lined up.

Good Evening Denise,
I am late in visiting tonight. We had a busy day here and next Saturday looks busy as well. I didn't post today but maybe tomorrow or Monday for sure. I enjoyed reading your Meme. Those pictures are beautiful and just breathtaking. "THANK YOU" for sharing them with us. I, too, am scared of heights. I had much rather be on flat ground. LOL. I guess that is because of me living on flat ground all my life. I love to wear T-shirts, but here lately, I've been wearing tank tops more often around the house. Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Denise,

I used to feel so vunerable when hubby left for work, but have gotten used to it now. Of course I depend on Meeko to alert me to anything unusual and he does.

I dislike heights too. I could go up this mountain in a bus, but like you, I would be walking down. The photos are beautiful. Such breathtaking scenery. Thanks so much for sharing.

Blessings,
Mary

Hello, Thank you for letting me get to know you a little better. The pictures were breath taking. I have a feeling in the same situation I would be walking down to. To be where a very dangerous man was. I pray your family is getting better and you have a great week coming up.

Love and Hugs,
Joyce

The pictures are wonderful! I Think a 3 hours walk down a mountain would have been great! At least you didn't walk up!

I'm totally with you on the heights problem! I would have walked down too!
:-)
I'd much rather be home than at a ball. Social get-togethers don't appeal much to me either, unless it is with family or close friends.

I loved looking at your pictures! They are beautiful!
